Ha, funny to see a lot of the same names. I haven't popped in years. I'm 44 now, I hung up the wakeboard a few years ago as my knees and back are done with it. I'm still wake surfing 2-4 days a week during the warm months of the short UT seasons. No kids, my wife is my dedicated driver and shreds too. It's pretty damn hard to round up a crew these days. Most of the times it's just 3-4 people max on the boat.
I pop into WW here and there, tigeowners.com, but mainly FB groups these day.

Joe... I was just thinking about you the other day. I think I even stalked you on facebook a little just to see what you were doing these days!
Hope all is well.

I was never much of a poster here or the other place- but I used to pop in on a regular basis to read all the discussions.
Seems a lot of people on this site and the other that rode in my day are done with the sport.
Me, still going at it on a regular basis.
A friend of mine had a young kid that I taught to ride, and the kid is in college and still spends the summers out on the boat pushing me to stay sharp.
I understand people get busy- but maybe try to do something for yourself and get back out there for a summer next year.
WHo knows, you may fall back in love with it.

I actually wakesurf weekly. I spend more time on boats now than I did back in the day when I was full-time in the industry.
Having a boat on the water has been key.

Joe, what the heck is up my man? Long time no talk brother. I was camping over at the river this past summer and my son asked “I wonder whatever happened to the hot tamale”. How’s the family?

I've had a lot going on since the good 'ol days. I opened a wild animal park but then that witch Carol Baskin stole it and now I'm in jail.
Just jokes. I do think it's funny that my username became relevant though.
I still wakeboard. I went from an 88 Ski Nautique 2001, to a 2000 SAN 210, and currently have a 2008 SAN 230. But I constantly dream about having the 88 back. In a bizarre reverse correlation, as I upgraded boats my riding time and boarding skills diminished.
flixmaster, did you make it out to the lake recently?
It's fun to think back to my early 20's (in the early 2000's) and how much this site influenced me. I hope y'all are enjoying your lives. Thanks for the good laughs.
Was Grouch the one that kept getting kicked off? Man, he had some hilarious stories. I still laugh about the story about the time he went to that UFO shaped house. As I recall he was taking pictures of it and the owner came out and angrily confronted him. So he started doing donuts and in the gravel drive and then drove away.
Caw Caw Caw tattoo is also legend!

I actually have been wakeboarding more this season than I have in years. Forgot how much fun it is, until you case the wake or land out in the flats or under an invert and then you're old ass is out of commission for 2 weeks, but that's the price you have to pay!

Still boarding here.
Chatt, I actually bought a ‘99 205V 4 years ago that had a Chattwake sticker on the windshield. You remember a forest green and white 205 with big fiberglass box on tower with 4-6x9s?

Yes, that was my friend Blake's boat. I've boarded behind that thing about a billion times. We loved that boat!!!! You still have it? It's name was "Pierre."

Hey PartyB.... I've been keeping up with you two on facebook. Love all the salt water stuff you are doing..
Still have not bought a boat for the beach house but I did buy a golf cart for our house. I've seen a few boats here and there but have not bought anything.
I decided to hit up a few guides and have one take me out in the bay and another to go a little off shore and see what I like best. I think I really am just going to like being out on the water and not actually fishing.. HAHA!
Hope everyone is getting thru this crazy year!
