Like was mentioned in another thread...where did the time go? I signed up for these boards when I was a captain in the Army. Two boats, two kids, and two wars later, now I'm retired from the military, kids are almost teens, and I'm almost 50. On the plus side, life is pretty good. I just changed jobs and am working for an outfit I thought you guys might appreciate. Maybe even GulfstreamV will come back and share his aviation prowess with us.
I signed on with Zapata Racing to help develop, market, and sell this Flyboard Air and some other modified configurations (bike, unmanned, etc). They make a bunch of water-based flying toys as well. You may recognize the Ronix closed-toe bindings, lol. I've even gotten interested in civilian flying and maybe getting my FAA fixed wing license or at least looking into Ultralight. Enjoy the vid. I hope all you old farts are doing well!

Nice. Can I be a test pilot? _________________ jt09 wrote:
I used to get all happy when the girlie would make a colonic appointment. That meant she was going to be breaking out the "fine china" soon.
I know some of you guys are Lake Havasu smart. We're looking for a place to rent for several weeks on or near the lake. Maybe a house or an available commercial property where we can flight test over water and practice for an upcoming air show demonstration in Miami. Ideally it would be a secluded spot where we won't bother anyone with noise. I know it's a longshot asking here, but I've often been amazed at the collective knowledge of this ragged bunch.

We rented part of a place out by Orlando to do some flying this week and it turns out it's one of the R&D and filming facilities for Ronix. Got to meet the couple that runs it; very down to earth and very friendly. Made me miss my boating and boarding days.
BTW, reminiscing reminded me: has anyone ever found the MP3 version of Double-O's "Beatface" that was on a Rob Struharik set in the Faction circa 2002? _________________
