On monday I was wakeskating and going wake to wake heelside. I had just landed two in a row and was going bigger each time. On the third try I landed with my rear foot only partially on the board and either the force from landing pushing my toe towards my knee or the water caught my heel and wrenched it around. I came out of the water expecting to see my ankle turned to the side. It looked ok but I went to emergency and I have a severe sprain and I am on crutches for 2-3 weeks. Does anyone one here get hurt wakeskating because this is my second injury on the skate and I never hear about injuries from anyone else.

I've never gotten hurt that bad, but I get taken apart by the griptape.

i just get the shix knocked outa me sometimes when the lips cathes on wake2wake jumps but thats about it. Other then me doing splits if i only get one foot on the baord after a trck.

i get the living crap riped out of my knuckles from the tape, but the other day i 180 a bouye and my back leg cought the bouye and i did the splits at like 20mph and pulled my groin muscle. So that hurt a little.

last year i dicked up and the board when perpendicular to the water and shot out of the water at my nuts. i thought i busted a nut. Rolling Eyes

I landed a shuvit with my back foot hanging off the back and it made me do the splits pulled my groin muscle andd my friend was wakeboaridng when he caught an edge, his board sank then shot up and busted his right nut open they had to CUT IT OFF!

i forget what i was doin but i think i cought an edge and when i flew off i took the whole impact on my throat. hurt to breath for a couple min.

I was attempting a kickflip over the wake and ate it and the board almost hit me in the head when I landed. I felt it brush my hair. Ever since I wear a helmet everytime I ride. A buddy of mine landed on his side and blew out an eardrum.

I used to think being hurt involved taking just a day or two off but this could last for weeks at this rate.

i was just screwing around, and tried to go like w2w into the flats, got offbalance and my head like, hit the wake skate. That kinda hurt.

i ate stuff on a towable slider on the ol wakeskate. My arm got caught up in the ropes as it ran me over.

well my friend jsut broke his leg wakeskating, which sucks cause i dont have anyone else to ride with. brandon thomas broke him femor last year off the old kicker big red at the OWC.

the only time i got hurt was when i was stupid and forgot my shoes. i went out on a cassete with grip tape and it tore my feet to shreds. i now have two scars on my left foot and one on my right.

About 10 days ago i was out wakeskating, and i was having an ok run at the end of the day. but that all changed while i was doing a b/s lip on the wake. i was passing the handle blind behind my back and while stuck in this position my board slid out towards the boat. then i kept rolling in a back roll motion only to find my wakeskate headfirst wich wenty nose dive and just stopped my inerta. went to the e.r. got 7 staples on the top pf my head and i couldnt swimm for 8 days... Crying or Very sad

at lake shasta my friend was skating and he said one more fall like 4 times and on that forth one he was just doing his usual wake to wake but he wanted to go alot bigger and cut really hard the skate kinda did half a kick flip and then started to nose dive, and he was above it, and when he came back up and we turned the boat around i saw the look on his face and i knew he was jacked up. the fin got his ankle, and you could see his achilles (SP) tendon, there was no blood to my surprise and you could just look into his foot and see his achilles. it was pretty nasty.

I was riding in Copano bay Near Corpus Christi, TX and I rode into the shallows and hit the bottomin powerslide. I snapped my left arm radius and ulna. It was so clean they wouldn't go back together so I got surgery and then 4 pins to hold the bones in place. Then after 4 weeks The nurse used pliers and pulled all 4 pins out w/o ANY pain medicine it was sick. It hurt so bad and I could here them moving the pins and my bones creaking. All in all I loved it lol.

gosh man, if i were you dumassonwheels89 i would quit, you have lost a nut and almost an arm. the worst fall i have ever taken is just trying a shove it and i landed in the water with my legs wide open, and it rung my nuts back, i couldnt even get back in the boat for a few minuted i just laide there and groaned

blndside088, I didn't loose a nut my friend did Scroll up and read it we r just unlucky sometimes. Also I forgot to put the plug in our boat and I couldn't get the acceleration to have a friend pop right up and ride and I drug him over a sharp stick that cut his ass open.
