Well, defense is still pretty optional here in Berkeley
With a new QB and new OC and all new WRs (two of them are freshman) I dont see the offense really peaking for another couple weeks. Expect lots of WR screens to get Hansen, Robertson, Stovall the ball, then a fake screen for TD.
What do I think? No freaking clue. Wouldn't be surprised if Robertson or Stovall has a huge day since Utah may try to double on Hansen. Oh, Hansen will probably still make a circus catch. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com
Yeah, I didn't see that one coming. When PI was called in the end zone and it became 1st and goal from the 1 yard line I was expecting your RB to run it right in. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com
yup - as much as i want him to be successful at texas, it's not looking like that's going to happen. herman is going to have his pick of top 5/10 gigs. if he beats louisville (i have louisville in that game today) and gets uh to the playoffs, the silly season is going to be awesome!
Tenn hands aggy a win with 7 turnovers. 7 and aggy still almost lost.
If we hang on to the ball we beat them by at least 20pts.....Going into the game ranked #9 come out with a loss still ranked #9. This Saturdays game is going to be a good one....I just wish we were fully healthy. We have lost so many star players on defense it is ridiculous.
Good weekend of college ball. Texas takes down Baylor. Wisconsin beats Nebraska. OKState beats WVU. I love all the one loss teams. I want more of them. I want their to be chaos for the selection committee. _________________ Work SUX!
Cal won five games this year, including Texas, UCLA, Oregon, Utah. Any other year and that's something to be pretty damn happy about. But Cal probably won't play in a bowl game.
Pac 12 championship game doesn't include USC, UCLA, Stanfurd, or Oregon.
Where the hell did Colorado come from?
Yeah, there's a thread about this on the Cal forums...sounds like there will be around three 5-7 teams getting invites. Problem is Cal is sitting at #5ish on the list, so a few teams need to decline bowl bids. Texas might decline, as you know. Beyond that it comes down to is the possibility of mid-major schools declining the invitation for financial reasons. I'm not too hopeful, but we'll see. _________________ www.TheLiquidPlayground.com
