Everyone wakeboarded.... Laughing

Leaving for 5 days on a 75' houseboat on Powell. Boat is cleaned up, fluids changed(Royal Purple oil?, apparently it's squeezed out of 20 y/o beautiful virgins), impeller changed, ready for some fun & to burn some gas!

E.J., sh*t, I'm just glad to have weekends (and weekdays, for that matter) when there are no sick children (or adults) in my house, so I can at least get in the pool and have a beer or cocktail.

If I could, I would. The time will come. For now, I am 1000% jealous of your trip!!!!

I'm afraid of how much Oxy I'd have to hit up Darin Shapiro for after a couple of tugs behind the boat now.

My last two seasons have consisted of a dozen pulls when camping at close to 5,000 ft elevation.

Lungs burning for $2,000 Alex.

Great looking boat E.J.! Have a fun trip!

And I'm glad to still be riding almost every week. Age is just a mental thing! I keep telling myself... Rolling Eyes

This is the first year of my (hopefully temporary) retirement from wakeboarding. Living in NYC sucks for riding. Puppy Eyes Going from riding almost every day last summer to this is not cool. Hopefully I can move to a place where riding exists pretty soon

I'll start riding again more regularly in a few years. Right now, my son is 4. I go cycle on Saturday morning and spend the rest of the weekend with him. Wife is a stay at home mom until he starts pre-k in August. She needs the break from him more than I need to be out on the water.

Plan is to pay off her car, save up and get a pool and then save up and get a good used boat around the time the kiddo is 9. Until then, we have a lake house with a killer Bass Tracker and a Seadoo. Very Happy

I still hit the cable a bit and kiteboard when its windy. Id like to ride boat more often, but my time has become so limited that it really isnt fair for me to try to get a ride. I'd be THAT GUY who needs to be picked up, get his set in and dropped off.

I've created a new acronym just for us to use when describing our inability to actually ride: TO;HK (Too Old;Have Kids)

jason_ssr, welcome to the fatass club! We have meetings every other Tuesday at the local Dunkin Donuts! Laughing

Seriously though, our time will come soon. For now, we just got to do little things here and there to stave off the complete collapse into the obeseabyss!

goofyboy, I passed #dadbod about 2 years ago. WELCOME TO THE FATASS CLUB! Laughing

Seriously though, when my free time increases (gonna be a few more years for sure) I will head right back to the gym and return to doing strength training on a regular basis. For now, I do whatever I can, which ain't much!

jt09, I'm saying I was at least #dadbod before but went full on truffle shuffle about 2 years ago. The only thing that is saving my fat ass from enlarging more is this standing desk. You should join the rest of us at Dunkin! Laughing

HAHAHA!!!! I'm trying, but the blessing\curse is that I can swing 40lbs and not look\feel much different. I'm tallish so 40lbs doesnt even move the belt a hole. However, I'm afraid if I dont stop the spiral that I will wake up one day at 100lbs over and unable to drop it. Right now Im in 3 basketball leagues and doing a lil kiteboarding and not seeing as much flux as I traditionally expect. Looks like I might have to...

...i cant even type it

...adjust my intake.

I will admit that as a former skinny fast 3, playing 40lbs heavier is kinda fun. Its not the high flying show anymore, but I can move some people around. Nice to not be on the receiving end for once.

I took the boat out 1 time last year. Pretty crappy to only use a brand new boat 1 time.

EPIC weather, water... I've surfed a bit, towed kids like crazy, still have not strapped on a WB, which is odd for me. Fun! Going to watch the Eastern Conference finals game 7 on a 55" TV outside on the top on the HB in a few minutes.

NKC - That's the boat my dad used to have. Except it was like a maroon/purple color. Loved that boat!

Will definitely be up on the boat in July when I'm in CT. Still ride once or twice a year. Haven't tried a 360 since my right tibia fracture 4 years ago. Fractured the left one 5 years before that doing the same thing. I was not ever meant to land it apparently.

We still ride about every other week. And guess what I still suck Laughing We usually pull the kids around on the tube first for a few hours then me, wife and another buddy ride. It helps to have a house on the water. The brackish water is showing its wear on the Sanger.

Little embarrassed to say that I didn't even take cigars. Not my houseboat, bunch of kids that weren't mine, would have been the only person smoking, just didn't feel right.... Confused
