Good thing I took today off, I'm not 100%...
Great time, great game. Bad penalties, oline needed to do a better job.
Next door to our friends tailgate, was a large Michigan tailgate. Guys drove in and had a great set up.
Momma and the little one.

So that excellent sports publication known as "Popular Mechanics" was dead wrong about this game.

JT, I followed the bobcats they held their own in the first half. Nothing to be ashamed of with that game. However, the other team you follow they are in a world of hurt. _________________ There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em... |

on the bobcats: i wanted a first half fight and to leave w/ everyone upright - check and check. 21-10 at the half and it could have been 21-17 if we'd have turned over the 2nd muffed punt of the 1st half down inside the 20. fcs team this week then southern miss at home then on the road at houston. we'll know how what our season will look like after those 2.
on the horns: strong just demoted watson to qb coach, sort of demoted wickline to ol coach (definitely just lost him his $600k lawsuit w/ okst) and promoted wr coach jay norvell to playcaller. think he'll be more aggressive, and i'd bet we see heard most of the time, w/ a lot more running plays from the qb. regardless, going to be tough to get to 8 wins. |

Holly hell that was an embarrassment. Strong needed to demote those coaches. Your senior running back gets 6 hand offs the whole game. Swoopes is not a D1 QB. Kid is slow and makes poor decisions.
Hopefully we can handle the Owls. One bright spot - Malik is legit. That kid is going to be fun to watch. _________________ Work SUX! |

At Texas?? Lost and sad. The free safety is a walkon that is slow and out of position a lot of the time. _________________ Work SUX! |

I mentioned Utahs best corner being arrested on serious charges, which were dismissed almost immediately due to video evidence that showed he was not the individual. But in the middle he was dismissed from the team(not suspended) & has NOT been reinstated.
Whit said there is a "possibility" that he may be, but not at this point. Seems something else came to light here, wish I knew what. |
Domo Hatfield reinstated and available. A great D just got better. |

Hope Boise SMOKES BYU! Embarrass them. Around here, they are talking about Mangum, the kid taking over for Taysom Hill, as the second coming of Jesus. He did bring them back to a win at Nebraska(hail mary gift notwithstanding). He was the co-winner(whatever you call it) at the Elite 11 QB Camp with Jamies Winston. But he has a total of 11 completions as a College Quarterback....
BYU has ZERO run game and their defensive backfield is TERRIBLE. Hope Boise can take advantage. |

USU didn't beat S. Utah by much.. WTF?!? Funny part is that there are still people that think USU will win the conference and get the G5 bid. |

Disappointed with that for the Utes. Losing Wilson didn't help, but their D gave up too much. Special teams, which was supposed to be special, has been mediocre at best.
The Utes are 2-0 & will be 3-0 after next week, but their metal will be tested week 4. |

Watching Auburn losing to Jacksonville State...
Just fumbled away the game I believe.
Idiot punter shanks it and now it's tied. Going to OT |

Yea, Little Man called me about this last night. He was supposed to be at the party, but was tired from an alumni scrimmage he played in with the Utes. His roommate was there(girl soccer player) and told him about it.
Good everyone is alive. CRAZY. |

jt09, nice... wish I had gone. We looked like absolute garbage in Q1-Q3, glad Baker got his head back in the game and willed that W. D was huge for us in the 2nd half. We can't have slow starts like that against teams like Baylor/TCU if we don't want to get blown out. |
