Doctors proposed 12 months of chemotherapy, while Rumer’s father and mother (who are not a couple), began a complementary therapy of naturopathic medicine, gluten-free meals, and medical-grade cannabis oil, which has been used around the world, with varying success rates, to treat conditions from ulcers and migraines to cancer and epilepsy. While the notion of treating children with marijuana remains controversial, Koessler says the oil worked wonders. |

Based on nothing other than his avatar photo, I'm going to say your assumption is correct.
I think it's a tough situation. I'm guessing the father is not a doctor and is doing what he thinks is in the best interest of his daughter, but it is still illegal. Having kids and having lost 2 aunts to cancer in past 2 years, I mostly hate that a 2 year old has to go through that.
If I ever get diagnosed with cancer that usually ends in death, I'm going to forgo treatment and start my BASE jumping career. |

It is illegal and he broke the law, regardless of how stupid the law is. That said, I would pack up all my stuff and move somewhere that it was legal as soon as I was able. I get that there are people that don't have that option and that is sad. The good news is that, at least here in the states, things are changing.
ohsix - At the end of my days, I'm going to have a rocking drinking, smoking and anything else crazy and dangerous habit I can think of. I want to go out in a blaze / haze.
