So, every fall, I usually let some sort of beard grow in. Typically, I'll do No Shave November then trim it close. This year I started early and may let it go longer without trimming it way back.
Have any of you gone 6-8 months? How did you trim?
Any products you would recommend for beard care? (I've been reading some articles, but would love to get direct feedback)

I didn't shave the entire time I was home with my daughter after her birth, which was just under 5 weeks. (that was 9 years ago). Hated it....never gone over about a week since. |

I didn't shave for about 10 months over the past year. I started about one year ago and just let it grow. I kept it trimmed on about a 7 setting and tried to keep the neck trimmed.
I really just got kind of sick of it. I'll probably do it again, but I'll need to wait a while. |

What did it look like with the #7 trim? What did you do to care for it other than trimming? _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

I started my beard on August 15th which corresponded with a trip to AK. I didn't shave for 9 days so I figured I would try a beard. I've trimmed it down to a 7mm 3 times and shave my neck and cheeks every day. At about 14mm mine just started looking bad, so I would trim it down to 7. I did a little research and found that there's more to growing a decent beard than not shaving. For the last week I've been using Bluebeard's original beard saver every morning after I shower and it seems to be looking better as it grows. I won't let mine get longer than an inch if I ever make it to that point without trimming it back down. |

I've had a beard or goat for 20 years. I keep it tight though. _________________

I started mine while traveling and then liked it and kept it. I trim the neck about 1-2x a week and every two weeks I'll trim everything down to a #2 |

I think the hardest part is that awkward "hobo" stage in between trimmed down and full beard. Or did I mean homeless... hobo comes after the full beard. |

I don't know if I have any pictures...I'm not big on pictures. I found that a 7 was long enough to be a little grizzly and cover a few small patches where it doesn't grow well, but short enough to keep it "trim" and business like and not go crazy with a cowlick I have in my beard on my neck line..
After about 6 months I trimmed it way down, actually off because I realized I was getting beard dandruff. From there I made sure to wash my face with dandruff shampoo and tried to keep it moisturized. |

E.J. I always struggle with it irritating me when I start, but it's usually only for the first couple weeks. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |
