Question Question Question Question it puts one of the best running teams in the nfl inside the 1y line, w/ 4 chances to get 7 points and go up 8 w/ less than 4:00 to play (maybe less than 3:00 w/ some good clock management and a little defense by gb). that's pretty much the definition of a game changer.

Which would have been plenty of time for the Packers to tie it, with the potential of another score and win or first to score in OT...still would have been a Packer win.

Enough bitching about the rules and what if. The game is over, the scoreboard is final. We all can go back and forth all day about refs jacking up calls in every sport.

The rest of us are looking forward to what could be two pretty fantastic matchups. I think the Seachickens are going down (but not by much) and the Pats getting over on the Colts (also not by much).

Rodgers made it out of that game fairly unscathed so his healing is going to be +1 week (and he looked pretty good vs the Boys). If SEA shows up with the same stuff they brought last week, I think they might be in trouble. Cam and his band of merry nobody receivers (Greg Olson aside) put up 17 against the best D around. I barely heard of Kelvin Benjamin before Saturday. Until that CC pick 6 this was a lot closer game than the score indicated.

I'm going to make a SWAG and figure that the Pack and the best QB around (and pretty decent receiver core) is going to get his. SEA offense, Beastmode aside, is pretty mediocre. Beastmode is not going to get shut down, but I don't see Russ getting a whole lot done - likely <200yds and maybe 1 TD. Beastmode does the rest (100+2tds).

Right now the line is SEA -7 (or 7.5) which I think is too much. O/U is 46.5. I like GB vs the spread and take the under. Final score GB 23 SEA 21.

Peyton did look terrible. He needs to hang it up and we can all watch him cross the stage in 2019 in Canton. All good bro, you got a ring, you got the stats, see you in bronze - now go eat some chicken parmy you taste so good.

Maybe I can get some sort of reaction to their hire....

E.J., I think JDR is likely for that job. He's been interviewing with the Rayyyyders, but no way he goes to Oakland if the Broncos offer him.

I think Denver's OC will become the new HC - Peyton likes him, and he hated Fox.

Thoughts about Fox going to 49ers or Oakland?

Peyton is the OC. Gase is doubtful. JDR better choice. Let Peyton run the O and JDR focus on D.

Rumors popping up that Shanahan is going to make a return as Elway gets the band back together.

You must not watch the Packers regularly. I thought he looked like shlt Laughing

But I agree with everything you say and will be making a rare bet on this game myself...

24-35 and 316/3/0 is a pretty good stat line. He wasn't perfect, but I think "pretty good" is a "pretty good" way to describe it. He had some stumbles, but for a guy with a bum wheel you'd expect that. Anyhow, if that's him looking like sh|t I'd be pretty stoked seeing as he should only be feeling better this weekend.

I watch every Packers game I can. Same for Sea, Dal, and NE. I've seen tons of GB and SEA this year, and tons of NE. Haven't seen enough of the Colts otherwise I'd have 2¢ to give about that game too. Having a hard time picking against NE though.

The Broncos aren't going to do anything until Elway and Manning talk once some time has passed. I'd bet that won't be until after the Super Bowl but maybe a bit sooner. If Manning comes back, I wouldn't be shocked if Adam Gase is the new HC or if The Rat returned to work with Manning.

The only places The Rat could potentially go now are CHI or ATL-both of which would be ideal due to their skilled QB/QB with whom The Rat is familiar. Either one could work out for him if they are willing to wait around a bit. Rumor has it that Fox is set to go to CHI so that could narrow it down a bit.

Foxy to the Bears. He's doomed from the start. Until they bite the bullet and ditch Cutler, nothing good will be going down in Chi Town.

Early Super Bowl predictions?

I want NE to win but I'm taking SEA because I think they're going to treat NE's o-line like they did DEN's last year in the Super Bowl. I'd REALLY like to see Brady win one more before he and the Pats part ways and he ends up in CHI, AZ, or STL or some other god forsaken place for the twilight of his career.

FIFY. Don't rule out KC! They'd much rather bring in a QB way past his prime instead of drafting someone.

That was painful...we had it in our hands and let it slip away with some key mistakes.
