|

I need help with my pop. I am trying to go wake to wake, and just not getting big air.
Here is a video : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I71je24_0AI&feature=youtu.be
You can see I feel like I have a decent edging to the wake, but my air is weak sauce. Maybe I need to edge harder and all the way through the wake? Am I straightening my legs right? What am I doing wrong, or need to do better?
Please give me tips and help with what I need to do to get bigger air.
Thanks in advance.

Try edging out into the flats more. This will give you more time to accelerate. I saw as you approached the wake you started to let your edge off a little. Just hit the wake on your heel side edge and you should be able to clear it. This will give you more speed because you will continue to accelerate off the wake and will give a quicker release off the wake. As far as your getting more air goes just keep your knees stiff and don't absorb any of the wake. Don't worry about actually jumping because this will make you lose control in the air. |

How fast are you riding? It looks fast but I'm just guessing that you're riding at about 25 MPH.
I agree that you've got to pull out a bit further into the flats before turning back toward the wake.
Also, you need to edge a little harder. You want your hardest edge/hardest pulling to be taking place as you go up the wake. So edge hard like you are until you hit the foam of the wake. At that point, edge twice as hard. _________________

I think about 20-22 it usually the speed I go. Are you saying faster/slower?
Thanks!
