So I broke the tail on a Parks air core, ronix replaced it no worries, great company.
But they let me keep the old board. The underside of the board is totally fine, the tail flexes up and the top sheet shows and obvious fold..
I was wondering, if i sand the bump on the topsheet, and get 4 stainless 12 inch ties form home depot (the ones that are about 1/8 thick..) and epoxy them down on the top of the board across from the tail tot he main board..
Do you think it would be strong enough to keep around as a guest / beater board? _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut. |

DJew Jake, screw it I would even try through bolting the stainless plates. What harm is 2-4 nuts going to do in terms of drag that fins dont to a beginner? I guess you could try epoxy first and see what happens but ya why not, you have nothing to lose on that board. |

I might grab a few sheets of fiberglass and lay it over the metal ties and wrap it around the bottom rails an inch or so. _________________ They know what is what but they dono what is what they just strut. |
