Summer?!

We've been having one of the coolest summers ever here in the heartland. We've been breaking records for cool temperatures and rain all throughout July. Man, I love this global warming.

We got 5" of rain yesterday, in Edmond, and it was 64 and foggy this morning.

It's been pretty cool here in VA too. We've had probably two stretches of upper 80s and sunny (my favorite weather, not uncommon for this time of year) but only for a few days. Right now it's 74 and has rained .5 inches since midnight. Most of this week has been 70s or low 80s and it's been much windier than normal which I hate for wakeboarding.

Bring on the 90s. Indian Summer please.

Best summer I can remember in a long time. 80 to 100 since the middle of June. 90 hours and counting on the boat.

62 this morning.

They were making a couple statements on the news last night. So far we've only had one 100* day. We also almost doubled the rain this summer over the spring. (~13" compared to ~7") It's definitely been one of the nicest summers since we moved here.
