Does the height of your ollie just increase over time or do you have to keep pushing yourself until you're satisfied?

Yeah it increases my ollies when i first started were about 6" and now there about 2ft or so. but i still cant do anything.

Practice, practice, practice. And remember to suck your knees up. Basically you should be able to ollie as high as you can jump. Most good skaters can ollie even a little higher than that.

I think it's easier to do a high ollie when you have to do it over or on to something, for some reason keeping your eyes on the object helps. I have a pretty "average" regular ollie height, but when I'm really "forced" into it I've suprised myself a few times.
