That kicked in the nutz feeling lasted a few days for me. It wasn't Americas Funniest Videos kind of pain, just a background feeling that something wasn't right. It was gone soon enough.

Mine lasted a few days and would resurge if I plopped down in a chair for the next couple weeks.

Man, my doc was awesome. No needle, no scalpel no stitches. 5 or 6 loud pops with a forcep puncture machine on the sack and then no pain. no pain meds for after either. Dude was a Longhorn, so we talked football the whole time.

Mine was the needle, scalpel, scissors, stitches method. Feeling pretty good. Friday (the day of the procedure) was the worst for soreness. I stayed off my feet for 24 hours and kept the ice on. After 24 hours, I went to my older son's soccer game, then flew my wife and kids to the lake and dropped them off. Flew back home, cleaned up around the house, and binge watched Narcos. I was afraid I'd be sore Sunday, but all was good. Balls are still a little tender with any kind of impact, but feel normal for non-strenuous activity. I say all this, not because I think everyone cares how I feel, but so maybe someone else on here will know what to expect if they're getting a vasectomy.

Yep. sorta why I shared. It's really not a big deal. That said, going into it, I was still nervous. Also, I had to laugh as that was the quietest doctors waiting room I have ever been in.

goofy, could you elaborate on the method a bit more?

Most of what I have found as far as no needle/no scalpel still includes poking a hole and cutting/cauterizing the tube.

Yep. That's what it was. 5 or 6 loud pops from a forcep poking contraption. Was not pleasant, but really didn't hurt any more than a rubber band popping on your skin. after that, no pain at all. No stiches.
