Been wakeboarding yesterday for the first time this year, third time cable riding overall, after an hour I just can't keep holding on to the handle when I pass a tower, my arms are too tired, I don't feel tired overall, but my arms are done, am I holding the handle in a wrong way maybe ?
Do I need to hold it closer to my chest/hips when I pass a tower ?
Or do I just need to go wakeboarding more so my arms get stronger ? |

3rd. First time of the season is always the most tiresome one for most of the people. Don't worry, next time on the cable, if the pause isn't going to be more then a week - will be much better. It's pretty much the same story with any given sport. Muscle groups tend to adapt to forces needed for certain workloads.
But for the future reference, I suggest you to do your push-ups or even better, the pull-ups when off season. It makes the first couple of days considerably easier. |
