I saw a documentary, I think on the National Geographic channel, years ago about a shipbreaking yard in India. They showed a huge ship being run aground, maybe an oil tanker, at the shipbreaking yard. The water was disgusting and full of pollutants, the workers wore nothing but shorts and spent their days cutting steel with oxy-acetyline torches. The documentary was more to show the pollution and unsafe working conditions, but the process was very interesting.
