I have a 99 tige with a 5.7 l v8 mercruiser and I'm having problems I took it to the shop and they put a new starter and distributor and fuel injectors on it and once I got it back my boat will only run about 13 mph and sounds like its bogging down. Idk how many rpms I am running. Anyways woundering if I can hook ul a car scanner to see what code it shoots ? And or would it be better to just put a carb on it and do away with the fuel injected system

Fuel delivery issue? Verified that fuel pump is good and anti-siphon valve is good? Eliminated water in gas or old/bad gas?
