I was just wondering if there was ever a new chart made. I'm currently doing some research on what I need to keep my eyes out for and a chart would be awesome.

This would be a pretty good idea... The old one was a great resource and whilst it still rings true its getting outdated and less relevant.

Surely there must be a few V drives that could not be classed as budget such as early X stars, VLX and SAN 210's?

Thats what I was thinking. A chart of all of their wakes would be awesome too. Maybe I'm just needy haha

Hey bmock I've done a ton of research and if you could tell my how much money you have to spend and what you want the boat to have, such as V drive or Direct Drive, open bow, closed bow.

I'd appreciate it! I want an open bow, to pay <25k but the cheaper the better, and I would prefer a v-drive, but if there's a helluva deal on a dd I won't be opposed to considering it. I really prefer a wake that is continuous, not super abrupt, but beggers can't be choosers haha

Multiple batteries and a nice system are a plus too!

I've been looking at supersports, and clean 205v's have been few and far between. Maybe there will be more for sale next spring

I would def go with a super sport or super air nautique 210. They are the same hull but the Super Air Nautique would have a ballast system and all the goodies for sure. Also I would check out some older 2000s X stars those can become amazing with some solid ballast.

What goodies besides a ballast system though? (which would get upgraded anyways) I can't seem to justify $6k more or whatever it may be for different graphics haha

Is there an older boat that throws a wake with a very similar if not the same shape as a fully loaded a22?
