after much searching and looking around i've finally narrowed my choice down to 2 boats,
2004 tige 20v and 2008 mastercraft x1.

the tige is $25,000
2004, very clean interior.
Does NOT have perfect pass, tower speakers or board racks.
i really like the interior and how its finished off.
has taps, but no built in ballast.

the mc x1 is $31,500
2008.
has been used a lot but apart from a few small nicks and scratches seems ok.
it has perfect pass, tower speakers and racks etc...

so my question really is....which is the better option?
id like pp in the tige but will need to install it myself.
is the mc worth the extra 6,600??? its 4 years newer and has all the bits n bobs.

any help is most most welcome.
cheers

ps, im in europe, so these prices may seem a little off by U.S standards

Prices seem OK.

I'd go with the MC. As long as it's been taken care of, high hours don't really scare me.

Were any saltwater boats?

All things being equal you always want to go with a newer model. 4 years is a big difference but that is if all things are equal a new motor will easily set you back another 5 grand if the MC has major hours on the motor. If the hours on the two boats are close I would go with the MC.

Assuming the engine in the MC is sound, I'd take the MC and it's not close.

That X1 is an all time classic boat....(205V, XStar, X2, X1)...

Get the engine tested, regardless what you do.
