|
|
Hey Guys,
Got a wake jumping question... have a look at the picture below and let me know when my board is always at an angle (like 45 degree) when I jump... I don't think it looks very good!!
When I see other people jumping their boards are always level with the water... and it looks much cooler... how can I fix this up?? Is there something wrong with my technique??
Also, should I be hitting the wake at a 90 degree angle??
Stevo

And you,re also sucking up your knees and absorbing the pop of the wake... (Unless you were going for a garb on this pic...)
If you make a good wakejump (standing tall and with even weight on both feet) you're going to see a hugfe splash of water (like an explosion) where you took off. Thats a good way to see if you jumped the right way...
Stand tall!

when you hit the wake make sure you have your weight evenly distributed on both feet.

make sure your keeping your legs parallel to the board before you hit the wake. Also make sure your not trying to jump the wake but your pulling the line towards your hip and standing tall as take off the wake. Try pulling the line further down your hip, This could work.
