Ok so I live in the upstate sc and I found a boat that I want 12hrs away in Florida. So I can fly there with someone for $100 and I'm just wondering what's the best way to tow the boat back. I do t want to spend a lot of money and I've checked with uhaul and it seems out of my budget. Anyone ever rent from a regular rental place and tow back home one way? |

Sounds like you can't afford a boat. _________________ Brent B

I had someone from U-ship bring it back and had some cocktails on the plane ride home. _________________ There'll be two dates on your tombstone/ And all your friends will read 'em/ But all that's gonna matter is that little dash between 'em... |

Most main stream rental companies remove the receiver hitch from their rental vehicles. |

Didn't you just get your boat last year from Florida? How did you get that one back to SC? Are you upgrading already? |

Yeah I got one from Florida last fall and it was in Orlando area and I just drove all the way there... Bad experience bc all 4 tires were dry rotted and replaced two before I realized they were all bad and I replaced them all. Anyways this one is almost in Miami and I'm not trying to drive that far. Also I'm 17 so I can't rent a car or uhaul. And I'm not upgrading I'm just buying another boat because I think it's a pretty good deal. It's a 99 malibu sportster lx with wedge, pp, bow, polk Audio, and tower. It's not the best wakeboarding boat but I want to buy it and maybe sell early next season.

Not a bad idea. Seems like a pretty good deal. I would look into a shipping company. There are a few different ones out there. I see people recommend them a lot on here. |

I looked at uship website. I just want to see how much it will cost me to send it. If I fill out all the stuff do I have to commit to let someone ship it because I just want to see how much it will cost. |

Looks like I'm going to be driving to Florida and back this weekend. I'm trying to save as much money as possible and I got the whole weekend off work so I might as well. Anything I should be looking for or look out for in a 99 malibu. |
