So I ordered some stainless cupholders for my boat since two of the factory plastic ones blew out and I figured stainless would look better. Apparently the stainless ones are slightly bigger than my old ones and they don't fit in my existing cupholder holes. They are just barely to big and they almost fit. And I tried sanding the inside of one for an hour and I felt like I was getting no where. All of the cupholders holders are on fiberglass. Anyone know a way to make them slightly larger without much expense?

Go to Home Depot and get a sanding wheel for your drill. Use it to bore out the holes. I had to do the same thing when I switched mine a few years back. Works great.

Do they sell them small enough to fit inside the actual hole?

It's called a flapper wheel. Should be by the drill bits at the hardware store
