Hey all,

Looking for a new board (100% boat), but nowhere remotely near me will demo so looking for some advice. The local shop near me sells Ronix, and I'd prefer to support them.

Background: I've ridden Byerly Assault, Watson Hybrid. and Shane Hybrid. I liked the Assault, but its molded fins were too big and was too grippy for my liking. I really liked the way the Watson Hybrid rode--seemed to edge and pop well and was fairly consistent. I don't really like the Shane Hybrid as much--it doesn't hold it's edge as well as I'd like and isn't as consistent.

I'm open to any rocker shape, and would like a board that's fairly forgiving and will hold its edge well into the wake (and obviously pops well). Looking between the Bill, Parks, and One, though I'm open for suggestions. I'm an intermediate rider (tantrum, backroll, frontroll, raley) if that's an indicator of anything.

Thanks

I rode both the Bill and the One at a Ronix demo at my home lake. They are polar opposites. The Bill is super flexy (for a Ronix, not quite Slingshot flex) and can take landings in the flats pretty well. Because of this flex it sacrifices a little pop. The One is a pretty stiff and will be a little harsher on you for flat landings.

The rep I talked to said the William was a pretty well balanced board for boat riding.
