Hi guys!
I'm a Norwegian wakeboarder who just moved to London after living on Oz/France for the past six yrs. I used to be really into wakeboarding when I was younger, was even competing actively, but a serious knee injury put an abrupt end to it. Now I haven't been wakeboarding properly in 7 years(!!!!) I really miss it!
Is anyone looking for someone to ride with in the London area?
I'm a relaxed and laidback guy. I always pay for fuel and chip in for the cost of owning a boat. I help out with maintenance. I know how to build rails and kickers And I'm not competitive on the water, for me boarding is all about having fun; the guy who has the most of it is the winner.
I'm actually really curious on how I'll do when I get back on the water. It'll be like starting all over again. I wonder if I still can do any of my tricks. Probably not. It'll be like being a beginner again. Boy was that fun!
So what can I offer in return, other than friendship and a good time on the water?
I still snowboard actively and know my way around the Norwegian and French mountains. My local mountain in Norway is lots of fun and I know it inside out. Anyone kind enough to offer me a ride is of course welcome on any of my trips this winter!
I also know plenty of sweet spots for wakeboarding in Norway, including a friends spot with an air nautique and cable ride for rails.
I live with my girlfriend in a super apartment at the heart of Shoreditch and every now and then we house parties that piss off our neighbours.
Well, that's about it. I know it's the complete wrong time of the year, but id be so happy to get in contact with someone. I need to get back into boarding again. The sooner I have an opportunity, the better!! |
