I've been searching for information on how to become a boat dealer, and can't seem to find any real information. I've emailed Mastercraft, Nautiqes, Malibu, but haven't gotten anything back. Anybody have any information they can pass on to me? What I need/should do? |

In my experience, new dealers are generally approached by the manufacturer.
They are often quality boat workshops that already have a good reputation and get offered a boat line to add to their portfolio, that or they are set up by those who already have a hand in the industry.
Just my 2 cents. _________________ www.AxisBoats.co.uk | www.Malibu-Boats.co.uk |

Brit Rider, i agree back in the day you could find the odd person that sold a boat or two out of their garage. But I would think the big three or four would want an exisiting shop and some big cash behind them before they allowed a new dealership to open up... _________________ Don't do anything rash.....and don't do anything to get a rash... |

If you have cash and a networth that is really high.. call me on the phone..
Are you an existing dealer? Do you have any ties to the industry already? Are you trying to start a boat store in your town? Are there any dealers already? _________________ Wakeskating
