has anyone heard anything about the new x-10? the wife is really digging the boat. talked to andrew atkinson and he hadn't really tested it out. ridden once behind it kind of thing. he prefers the x-25 after the new xstar. was funny didn't have great things to say about the old xstar... he didn't say he didn't like it but said it was time to retire that hull...

anyways x-10 anyone trie it out?

I would say the x-10 is more of a crossover boat. Not bad but not near the potential of the x-25 as far as wake goes

Thats what i'm afraid of. What i'm hoping for is finally a replacement for the 205v hull. I want the same wake with more room. Is that too much to ask for?

Look at a newer x2. I have ridden behind an 08 x1(205 hull) and an 08 x2. The wake in the x2 was better imo cuz it took alot less work to get it right and there was alot more interior room.

Newer x-2 has a better wake with less work? You might have to go back and check your facts. My neighbor has a newer x-2 and it a great boat to surf behind, great family boat, lots of room for a 20 foot boat. Stock ballast wakeboarding is not good. With an extra 1500 lbs it still isnt as good as a stock 205 with some weight in the bow. If someone was looking for a pure wakeboard boat i would never suggest a newer x-2. My opinion of course.
