Those of us wakeboarders at Virginia Tech are really stepping up our social media presence this year and are posting lots of cool content on our blog and twitter. Our goal is to not only keep everyone in the loop with VT's wakeboarders, but also other college clubs/collegiate wakeboard news and happenings. Not just competition results, but more fun stuff like top 10 lists, rider interviews, short videos, etc.
Disclaimer: we aren't making any money off this so hope Ed doesn't mind me posting this. Just wanted to let you all know in case you are interested in the collegiate wakeboarding scene. It is growing fast and we feel like the general wakeboard population (you all) doesn't get to see very much of the day to day happenings.
Nice blog. I agree with Gnar, it would have been cool to be involved with something like this at my school, but we didn't have a wake club. Are you number 5 on the list?

mgs917, yes
BigBadWolfe, We usually make it to at least 1 Empire (Collegiate Wake Series) events per fall, normally the Atlanta stop. They're always really fun. But we missed one year and it all depends on our home football schedule. We always make it to the official USA Wakeboard Regionals and Nationals though
Thanks for the positive feedback. We are going to keep releasing lots of content, including plenty of videos once the season starts, as well as updates/videos from other collegiate clubs as we find them, so if any of that interests you please subscribe!
