Well, I thought I'd make it to midnight, but it is midnight for the rest of the country so 'close enough'
It's officially signing day. Sark had probably the best 24 hours in Husky recruiting history landing Shaq Thomson *****, Jaydon Mickens ****, Jordan Payton **** and Shane Brostek ***
I'd love one more stud on the OL tomorrow if we can pull off flipping somebody, but there are a few solid leans out there in the skill positions. _________________

senorbueno, you guys have been out of the dgb sweepstakes for quite a while. stoops shifting out of texas recently is quite interesting indeed. don't know if knight will ever be a great qb in college, but i really like him.

I was really surprised DGB picked MU. I figured OU/Texas/Arky would have been much better places for him to develop as a WR.
Still waiting to see if tOSU lands Dodson (OT), Neal (WR) and Diggs (WR/ATH). Donson's decision is today and the other two aren't announcing today. _________________ RIP DLS.

lol about DGB... That family has been tight lipped. We were in it just as much as Texas was in it (in that no one really knows how close anyone came to signing him). The only people reporting that OU were out with DGB were from Texas, go figure.
Mizzou's a good fit for him though, close to home, pass first offense.
We just took Courtney Gardner (juco 4*) from Arkansas... making that our 5th 4* or better WR in this class
I think we're going to be throwing the ball a little bit the next couple of years
Auburn's hurting from that mid recruiting season coach switcharoo. Hopefully they keep a decent few. We did land a good transfer from Illinois but that's old news
senorbueno, ou coaches were called and told they were out of it last week, and if you follow recruiting at all, you know that ou and bama were eliminated quite a while ago. the only people saying ou was still in it were the national outlets who don't know jack - the same people who were also saying bama had a chance as late as this morning.
texas flipped lsu de toshiro davis at the last second - that makes 7 flips for mack this year.
Some nice suprises for the Dawgs. We picked up Pio Vatuevi DE 6-3, 270 from USC and just flipped Cleveland Wallace CB from OSU.
Though Jordan Payton may sign with UCLA. He's already committed to USC, Cal and UW. Maybe he should toss in an Oregon school before he settles. The UW beat writer tweeted "even Brett Favre thinks Jordan Payton is indecisive" _________________

Just cannot get excited about following where 17/18 year old kids are going to go to school....
I'm all for the Utes signing a great class, but following it with vigor....not for me. I'll start following these kids in the Spring/Fall, depending on when they enroll and start playing college football.
jt09, you can add to your A&M recruit bashing with this...
Linebacker Ben Weaver from the Houston area gave the Broncos his verbal back in June—then followed with a stellar senior season. Scout.com reports that Texas A&M came in late and ended up offering a scholarship to Weaver, who lives two hours from College Station. "A&M offered me a few hours ago," Weaver informed Scout.com's Ahmard Vital via text message a few days ago. "I'm not visiting and I'm staying committed to Boise."
churchy, they lost 18 commits to either other teams poaching (12) or grades (6), so they've been scrambling to get anyone to come play for them. in an odd twist of reality - us bobcats were worried they would flip some guys from us today.
I haven't followed recruiting in the last 3-4 months. Cancelled my sub. Still signed the #14 class according to Rivals after a coaching change.
Sounds like we lost a lot of kids the last month or 2, which sucks, but lets put it in context. This is still a damn good class. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone.
Wakebrad, it's a decent class, but it could have been really, really good if those guys had stuck w/ you - especially the 7 ****.
here are the stars/positions for the guys you lost:
**** ATH Davante Bourque - Tennessee
**** LB Lorenzo Phillips - LSU
**** DB Colin Blake - FSU
**** DB Darion Monroe - Tulane
**** QB Trevor Knight - Oklahoma
**** WR Bralon Addison - Oregon
**** RB Marion Grice - grades
*** DE Eric Davis - Oklahoma State
*** DB Corey Thompson - LSU
*** OL Michael Wilson - Oklahoma State
*** LB Eddie Porter - Arkansas State
*** WR Marcus Johnson - Texas
*** WR Jaevon Richardson - grades
*** WR Trent Momon - grades
*** OL Adrian Bellard - grades
*** ATH Troy Green - grades
True, but only a few of those guys were lost at the end. Phillips was committed for 1 day, Bourque left sometime this summer. You're generally not going to hold onto 2 4* QBs. It's not as bad as it sounds. I didn't realize we lost so many to grades.
Monroe and Addison hurt for sure. _________________ You have just entered the twilight zone.
there's no way to spin getting 12 kids stolen from you. this would have been your best recruiting class...well, probably ever and the positions where you lost real talent were big need positions.
