On my way pulling up to the driveway this morning, out of the corner of my eye I saw this guy across the street from my house.....just hanging out, looking for lunch to pop out somewhere I assume.....
I kid you not, I had my daughter run over to the neighbors & tell them to keep their dogs in....... _________________

Had an eagle at our lake house. Was not a bald eagle, but still it was an eagle. I didn't realize just how big they are. Good lord, they are huge. _________________ Work SUX! |

Part of our property borders a small river and we'll routinely see eagles and hawks perched above the river just like in the picture. Very cool.
Speaking of big, we were riding ATVs down the (frozen) river the other day and came across a HUGE eagles nest. Thing must have been 4' across easy. |

In conservation biology last semester we had a guest lecture by the southern raptor recovery center and the brought one. Super cool animals. Of course, we get to see eagles quite often here in the fall on gameday _________________ chadhooper.wordpress.com |
