Hey guys been a while since I've been on the site,
Ive been looking into an older hyperlite nova board but don't want to upgrade to the system bindings. I've read that in order to keep the warranty on any of the nova boards you have to use the system bindings which sucks. But does anyone think that it will matter?
I have a pair of 2010 watson bindings I was planning on putting on a 2011 murray nova.
Has anyone on here done something like this?
thanks big time _________________ commit or die committing
I have heard something along those lines but I am not sure how strict it is when it comes to the warranty process. I have warrantied a few nova boards and my CS rep has never asked if the person was using system bindings. It is normally 1 year or maybe 2 years for Hyperlite from the purchase date. So are you buying the board just now from a shop? If so check with the shop if they think you will have a problem. _________________ Wakeskating Ronix Wakeboards Wakeboarding

I dont know how they are going to prove you weren't wearing system bindings unless your bindings etch a different pattern of marks onto the board... which now a days doesnt seem to happen that much.
I would be careful buying an older board because if it isnt from a shop chances are your going to have a hard time getting it warrantied.
How often do you break boards? If your not a common board breaker then i wouldnt worry about it. _________________ Random Acts Of Dumbness Will Always Be Rewarded.
