After ordering speaker rings for my tower speakers which did not fit, I have decided to attempt to make them myself. I am cutting them for my kicker kmt60 tower speakers. I ordered some rgb led strips today and I chose to get the 300 led per 5 m over the 150 just so they'd be less of a gap. I am ordering 1/2" plexiglass online and I plan on cutting it with a a drill press and large hole saws. I've seen many people do it this way with good results. Since my speakers have to fit in the enclosure I can only make the OD 6.5" and the ID 5.75". Any advice and tips would be appreciated before I start.
Here is some pictures of the speakers.
