Hey guys,
i'm currently looking for a new board as my old one recently died, both edges opened on 70% of the length of the board. Weird behaviors were happening, like sudden dives...
Anyway.
I'm riding both boat and cable (80% / 20%) as well as fresh and salt water. So i'm in the need of a board that would handle all of this. I don't go much ride the nearest (roughly 600kms) park but when i do, i usually stay there 3-4 days and hit every single obstacle i can during the whole day with basically no mercy for the board.
I'm around 165lbs and 6.2'. My older board was a Watson 2009 or 2010 in 134. A bit short but we bought it — me and my girlfriend — to ride together. I recently tried an old Ronix in 142 and gotta admit it's feeling way better behind the boat. About the riding style, i'd say ok with a good progression rate, currently working on hs 360 wake to wake. Riding around once or twice a week with some weekends even heavier.
Fins would have to be removable (or can we ride the park even with small ones?).
Budget, pretty ok, but nothing above 500$, let's keep it reasonable. But a 2013 model (it's my birthday soon!).
I've seen stuff like the Ronix Parks ATR and One ATR, Hyperlite Marek Bio... Gotta admit i'm a bit lost with the Liquidforce models. Size would go between 139 and 142 i'd say. But i'm open minded to constructive suggestions.
So there it goes, will keep looking and checking for answers here.
