I have to go there for work. Crap.

Anyone know of any good hotels? Places to eat? Things to do so I don't kill myself?

Do not go to the mexican food place down the road from the BW3's. Holy hell it is awful. Granted, I am spoiled here in Texas.

That said, right out side of Evansville is the Log Inn. Some of the best fried chicken and skillet potatos I have ever had. It's right to the north of Evansville.

Their other claim to fame is that Lincoln stopped there once and they are one of the oldest original inn and stage coach stops in the United States, the Log Inn was built in 1825.

You already make it down there or not? I'm originally from Evansville.

Definitely going to want to go to the Hilltop Inn and get a Braind Sandwich. I'd recommend either staying at the Casino Aztar Hotel downtown or Le Merigot (or I can recommend other ones depending on which part of town your business is on).

Food/Beer/Drinks
Gersthaus (On Franklin Street-Great authentic German cuisine, and probably the most extensive beer and alcohol list you'll find in town)
Pizza King (Get a Stromboli, they're the best food ever, and the Pizza King in Evansville are completely unrelated to the Pizza Kings you find anywhere else-also on Franklin Street)
Hilltop Inn (Literally on a hilltop at a convergence of 5 roads. Famous for their Brain Sandwiches, and they are fantastic)
Ri Ra's (Great place for food and the bar scene)
Stoney's-Western themed bar, the servers walk around in bikinis and leather chaps.

Evansville has really seen a lot of growth in the nightlife and attractions for the younger crowd in recent years. It's a fairly good size city, 250k-300k with room for a LOT of growth potential for businesses.
