|
|
| So I am constantly breaking my laces on my binding and I have extra lace to re-lace my bindings, but I was trying to re-lace them yesterday but I couldn't get the lace through the tightener, I tried to pull it apart, but no matter how hard anybody pulled, it wouldn't come apart so I could fit the laces through. I pull it out by accident all the time, so I was wondering how you do this, thanks. |

| I replaced mine with no problems are you making sure the center of the lace lock is pushed all the way down? It sounds like you have the catch part of the lace lock at the top not allowing the lace through |

| I figured it out last night! Haha If you jam a screwdriver into the top of the body (the side without the notch) then hit the bottom of the tab with another screwdriver it will come out no problem. Removed 6 tabs yesterday with out a problem haha if you need a better explanation, I'll try to post a visual how to later tonight. |

| Okay, I was going to post a visual aid on how to do it with the screwdrivers, but found a way easier way. simply place the tightener in a vice so that when you put pressure the opening on the top comes apart and the top part will come right out. So much easier then the screwdriver way. If you would still like pictures of the other way let me know. |

The easier way is you don't take the lock apart.
It really isn't necessary. |

Assuming you are talking about these locks, it is not necessary. I have replaced several laces on Ronix bindings without pulling the lock apart. |
