Hello I am looking to get a new boat the one I have is old and completely rotted out.
I'm looking for a boat that is hopefully around 10k I would like a open bow with a ballast system and a tower and no wooden floors or seats
I'm ready to start learning more tricks I just need a Niger wake
Does a tower really make a diffrance? |

| Yeah the tower defiantly does make a difference. Instead of being pulled down its like your getting pulled up. And for 10k your prolly gonna be looking at late 80s and 90s direct drive boats. I wouldn't suggest getting an I/O because the wake won't be as good and you will wish you'd got an inboard. If I were you I would look at some of the 90s supra saltare's and sunspots. There very large and have lots of room and I've heard the wakes are quiet nice. And the ballast you may just have to put in yourself b/c most boats in your price range probably won't have this as a factory option. Just my 2 cents. Good luck! |

Thank
I defiantly want an inboard but I want somthing alittle newer than that craigslist post
Most people on the lake I live on have mastercraft prostars what do you yhink of those I feel like they would be easier to find in the area I live in are there anything wrong with them? And how would they compare to a supra? Or a Malibu ? |

| You can't really just say brands you have to be specific on what models. example: MC 190 prostars have horrible wakes while MC 205 prostars have good ones. Also year models make a big difference. Same thing goes with other brands. If you going to be wakeboarding and wakesurfing the craigslist add above would be a great boat for that if you can haul it. Why do you say you want something newer? looks? On The boat above they have already replaced the stringers and motor so your good for another 20+ years. |

Unless you want to sink your Ps190 with ballast or ski it's a pos. The boat above is pretty decent and like anw7405 said, the stringers are done so that's a huge plus. Just shop around, since your not from the USA I assume you are willing to have it shipped? _________________ "It's just water..not concrete or dirt..just throw it!! |

If you want something newer with a good wake you'll be spending more than $10K. Another option would be the Nautique 2001 model, but that's closed bow. And as old as this one. For around 15K you can find a newer V-drive. _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

for that kind of money you can pick up a tricked out io. i would sell mine for around there. it has 330 hp fuel injected engine, high 5 prop, perfect pass, killer system, tower, cover, wrap around seating, mostly new interior, ballast, built in sub, sun deck, swim deck, putting a heater in, has shower just need to put in.
it maintains speed just as good as my buddys tige, killer wake. the only thing you cant do with an io that you can do with a vd/dd is surf. well you can, im just not going to! _________________ trying to find a $5-7K usable saltare if anyone knows of one. |
