i saw someone at my local cable park do a raley on flat. i want to try this behind a boat how do i do it

You mean without wake or kicker? Then it's called an "air-trick", so in this case an air air raley. Or squared raley. It's possible behind the boat but a whole lot harder than on the cable. Or am I missing what you're saying and just want to do normal raleys behind the boat?

devcrin, Not really doable behind a boat off of completely flat water (if it is even possible it's damn hard). The reason it works on cable is that the tow point is so high off of the water it pulls you upwards.

Squared Raley is possible, I think I've seen Murray do it in a video (detention maybe?).

Off the wake is not the hardest trick.

Yeah it sure is nuts! It was a lonnngggg time ago when I saw that vid, probably 10 years ago or so. I googled but couldn't find anything. Anyone?!

Air mobe, air air raley, air whirlybird....these tricks used to be done all the time before the whole "spin to win" craze started. Wakeboarding History 101.
