Just picked up a CWB pure from a friend that sold his boat and I'm just getting into the wakeboard scene. at 134: 52.8" x 16.9" dimensions, is this a little too small for me? (5'11 175-180 lbs) Board gets good pop off the wake, but is really squirrely in rougher water. Bindings set at 10 degrees each.
Also been running without fins my last two times out, and I seem to prefer this over running with fins (ran today without them and finally got my switches solid, and I felt landing was easier too) any insight into this for a new(ish) rider?
Aside from that, is there any good methods for getting some practice in out of the water? Thought about borrowing the neighbor's trampoline or maybe an old mattress to bounce around on.
that board is def a little small but not unrideable i would ride it untill i was in a good spot to buy a bigger one. Bigger boards do better in rough water and also land a little softer. As far a trampolines and things like that go they can help but nothing is like actually riding. I can kill on a trampoline but not so much behind a boat. My buddy has a setup but he uses it more for getting handle passes down and stuff like that. He has a rope and handle tied to a near by tree. _________________ Ride or Die

All boards will be squirrely in rough water..all you can do is hold on and wait for the smooove water _________________ "It's just water..not concrete or dirt..just throw it!!
