|
|
I have an 8 year old little girl who is eager to wakeboard. What board and bindings do you suggest? She is tall and thin for her age, pretty athletic though. I've been looking at the 111 or 118 Liquid Force Star for kids. Would this be a good place to start? I want her to be comfortable while learning. I don't mind upgrading in a couple of summers. The kids bindings look to have velcro instead of laces - this seems to be easier to adjust for a little one. Thoughts?
Also, what rope do you suggest for kids wakeboarding? Thanks for any insight. I'm not a wakeboarder so I have no idea where to start.
Cheers! |

I'll give it my best. As long as the board is within her weight range, so it's the right size it should be fine. Stick to the sport's leading manufacturers so you get good quality.(Hyperlite, Ronix, Liquid Force, Slingshot, CWB). As for a rope, I would probably just use a regular rope/handle, as long as it is a non-stretch rope. Velcro should be fine for the bindings. Hope this was helpful! _________________ "It's just water..not concrete or dirt..just throw it!! |

The star would probably be a good choice. We had our boys riding the Nemesis when they were around that age. _________________ If love is blind, why is lingerie so popular? |

I bought a used LF 124 for my 8 year old last year and he loves it. Probably get him a new one next season. Great board to start him on though. |
