Ive pretty much decided on getting the 03' parks to go with my 02' Balance. I have a size 12 foot, and I know based on what the manufactuers say I should go with an XL, but that just seems way too big.

At the end of last year I was riding an old murray with MEDIUM bindings, and it was tight, but I really felt locked in. it felt good. i realize they were probably stretched out quite a bit, but I still cant make up my mind on which size to get. I was reading a review on wakeworld and this guy was takling about he let his friend with a 12.5 foot use his bindings and it stretched them out or something. I was thinking a Lg. would be a good size, my foot is pretty narrow. Besides they say the Parks lace system allows you to really tighten it down.

What size do you guys use, and what size would you suggest for a foot size of 12?

You should ask your dealer to let you try on a pair of different sizes to feel which one fits best. If you can't do that I'd say pick one that fits you, probably the XL...

I see.

The guy I was gonna get em from can order them, he says he'll undercut any price I can find online by like 30$. He runs a very small shop in my town, the only thing he has up there right now are some 02' highbacks. Thing is, if he orders them, I think its a done deal from there. So I dont really have a chance to try them on or whatever.

I think this one guy I know has a pair of parks XL's, but I never even considered xl's. I was thinknig for certain theyd either be mediums or larges. Ill try and get in touch with him about slipping them on tho...

Bindings are not based on length, but by width. That is based on average wisth for length of foot. If you foot is more wide, then go beigger, average, stay the same, and skinnier, smaller.

Somethingelse to think about is...there are only 3 base sized. Small regular, and "big"

Small-mini to small
Regular-medium to large
"big"-xl-xxxl..or wherever they stop...

You said the medium were a lil light,so the smartest thing would be a foot be bigger,so xl should be good...

"Bindings are not based on length, but by width."

Wow, I think that erally explains a lot then. My foot is pretty dang narrow, and the mediums were pretty tight, but I like it tight - feels like Im one with the board Smile. When I rode my buddy Steve's byerly with Larges my heel was moving around a good bit. Im gonna try and get in touch with this guy I know who has a pair of 02' parks XL's and go from there....
