Any advice as to where to ride and Launch on Don Pedro Lake?

Just moved to Oakdale, CA. We are going to take the boat out and try and ride this weekend on Don Pedro. Any advice as to where to launch, the smoothest place to ride and does anyone want to meet up? I am looking for some people that like to ride hard then relax when all the tubes come out.

Another question is what is a Sanger? I lived near Knoxville where every boat under the sun is made but have never seen a sanger until I moved and started driving around Oakdale. I have seen 1 Nautique, a few Malibus, and at least 20 sangers. I am not making any judgements just truly have never seen them before.
