3 years in a row I have had my motor very briefly overheat on the first launch of the year. I connect all of the hoses and etc. start the boat without issue. After about 10 min the temp spikes up to 200ish then comes right back down and runs normal.

I am stumped.

Thoughts?

I would guess there is an air bubble in the cooling passages somewhere and it takes a few minutes to burp it. Either that or the thermostat is sticking for a few minutes for being dry all winter.
