i have a 97 manta ray i/O with a 5.3 litre. When im pulling someone how do i get the right wake??? it still white caps over teh wake when were cruising and i here thats not good? what do i do

If it's white capping to one side, move people to that side. If it's all over, speed up, or set the trim up a little.

Maybe try adding some weight in the bow and in the ski locker or between the front seats... Id say about 250 to 400 lbs. That should keep the wake from washing out so much and it will make your wake steeper too. I would give it a shot first before you go out and buy an expensive ballast system either just move the majority of the people up there or use sand bags or coolers full of water to experiment.

In an I/O carp has it right. Trim up a bit and add weight to the bow.

I/Os have the benefit of being able to adjust the trim which forces the back end into the water. You have to add weight to the bow to level out the boat for a good wake. Trouble is it's tough to keep speed like that.
