I am moving to Austin TX in a few months and would like to have some sort of dry slip. I currently have a float lift but I am all the way up in Wisconsin so I will probably just sell it but keep the boat. I have heard the Lake Travis is where all the boating is but do not know much more then that.

What am I looking to pay for a dry slip or stacking on Lake Travis? Wet slips around here were only around 800-1300 for a year but we only have 3 or 4 months of use. Obviously the lower the price the better. Also any marina recommendations along with that?

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!

Stop by and see us at Boardstop/Wakeboarder.com when you are in town....

For a dry slip I have hear 220 per month on Travis..

No dry stack on Lake Austin.

Wet slips on lake austin are 250 and up per month and most want you to pay for the whole year up front.

Travis has been really low the past two seasons so maybe you can get some better rates now????

I would look at some of the dry stacks on 620 near lakeway.

I've heard $220 for Lake Travis slips but all have been a ways out of town. The best I was able to find was $250/mo at Lake Travis Marina. This was a couple of years ago though before the lake levels dropped.

Dry slips on Lake Austin are going to run you at $375+/mo. I was able to find one for $250/mo at a private residence but the lady was absolutely insane and I left after 1 month.

When you say dry slip on Travis that means covered slip with a lift right? Any marina recommendations? Is lake Travis still safe and active with all the droughts?

Thanks for the help guys. I will def step in and see the shop
