When approaching the wake, keep the handle closer to your hip. Engage the rotation by pulling the handle to your back hip. Try to pass the handle as close to your body as you can.
I can't see it on the video, but just in case: keep your eyes open!
You're almost there, it's a great feeling landing your first 3! |

You're spinning too early and its throwing you off axis. Your handle work is clean, your pop is pretty good, and your (lack of) line tension is great. You're simply spinning it too early. You shouldn't even start spinning a 3 until you're about 30-40% over the wake (assuming wake to wake).
If you can be patient off the wake I bet you nail one your next ride, some great attempts there!

Yeah for sure, almost there!
Can you do 'm inside out? And 1 wake? You don't go W2W on any of your attempts, so I'd first try a longer rope so you don't hit the 2nd wake on your landing, and when you got them dialed in go to a supershort rope to do 'm W2W, then a bit longer every time.
2 other little things you might want to try are
-get into the seated position earlier, as soon as you start coasting after your edge out. Then stay in that position until you leave the wake.
-you're spinning "head first"; you're already looking at the boat when you're at 3/4 of the rotation. Try leading with your board, landing looking back.
Good luck! _________________ FlyZone Wakeboarding Costa Rica |

One thing that will help you alot is doing a slow speed, long rope, one wake 360. Have the boat speed as slow as possible while keeping the wake clean, a long rope will help you land in the middle of the wake.
Before you begin your approach to the wake you want to focus on getting the correct body and handle position. After cutting out, flatten off the board and get into the seated position. Bending your knees while keeping the lean on the line. You want to make sure you dont get that down & up motion before the wake.
Keep the handle in close on the approach and up the wake and push with your knees, to initiate the rotation all you need is a simple push of the handle to your right hip. Another thing that will help your axis will be where your looking, you want to be looking toward the shore in the direction of travel untill your board has reached 180 degrees. When doing the second half of the trick, rather than reaching around for the handle push your hip up to the handle when your back is facing the boat, this will help you get the handle every time and stay on axis. Landing is the easiest part as long as you look to shore in the direction of travel
Good luck |

I went to the Boarding School in May and learned it within two short sets. Here's what help me:
Start by doing them on the surface, behind the boat, moving between the wakes. When you get to the prop wash, pull WITH BOTH HANDS the handle to your back hip. Reach around and grad the handle and keep your head trailing. Do this 4 or 5 times.
Next take them one wake. Start just outside the prop wash, take a mellow edge in, push off the top of the wake and once you're at the peak, pull WITH BOTH HANDS the handle to your back hip. When you initiate the spin this way you won't need to use your head or shoulders, which takes you off axis and the trick takes care of itself. You should keep your head trailing or you'll open up and slide out.
The key other to staying on axis is to wait until the peak of the jump before you pull.
You might also try them wrapped which takes the handle pass out of the equation all together. Plus it's 100x easier and you'll build air awareness for the spin. My guess is you'll land it wrapped after a few tries.
Check out Detention 2012 if you get a chance. Murray does a good job on the HS360 in that video. |

what he said, the first few attempts in the video you would have had if you weren't casing the wake.
get them one wake at a slower speed and longer rope. _________________ Wake Forest University |
