New to wakeboarding & new to anything but I/O boats.

We just bought a 2008 Super Air Nautique and love the boat. It's an awesome boat! Should have bought a wakeboard boat a long time ago.

Friends have told us there is going to be a learning curve with the V-drive setup especially since I've never driven anything but an I/O til now. I'm a little concerned about one thing ~ Is it normal for the boat the be a little squirly when coming off plane? It tends to turn abruptly to port when we slow down; a bit scary in close quarters with oncoming boats.

I think I have heard this before but can not remember where. The Nautique that I have driven was a 2011 210 and it did not do what your explaining even fully sacked out.
You might have someone check you rudder, hydro plate"whatever Nautique calls it", and you prop and shaft.

sounds like something is out of alignment, either your rudder, prop shaft, or shaft strut
