Hey Guys and Gals, I've been around this forum since I was...15, had a lot of good experiences with you guys on here so I figured I'd ask around here.

My dad used to have an '04 Moomba Mobius when I was going through high school and sold it when i left for college. I loved that boat, the wake and everything. But it had to go.

I'm graduated and have a good job nowadays and my buddy and I are really looking to get back on the lake. We're looking to spend no more than 18k on a boat that's gonna throw us a good wake. This will be a cash purchse.

I've done some research around here, and for the price it looks like i can get in:

Older MC 205, Xstar This seems to be the most popular, budget choice
Older Sunsetter LX, VLX
Older Tige

What other boats with a good classic hull can I get in with that price point? I don't really want to be having to dump a lot of money into it right off the bat, so restoring really isn't too much of an option. Let me know what you guys think, any advice is greatly appreciated, thanks!

I don't think you can go wrong with any of these boats. good choices. You might look at the sanger v210 also. I have heard nothing but good things about them boarding and surfing wise. Might be hard to find on the east coast though.
