Hello all, I've been riding an older Lyman for quite awhile now but am interested in picking up a new board for this summer. I love everything about the Lyman. Before the Lyman I rode a Substance but didn't like it nearly as much. Can anyone offer any comparisons to the Lyman that I should check out since the Lyman isn't around anymore? Thanks!

You can get a Lyman still just the slingshot version.

From liquid force the last Lyman was sampled from the LF-Trip that might be something to look at.

The only thing I can think of outside of LF that is remotely similar is the BSide

Awesome thank you. Are there any big differences between the LF and Slingshot versions?

I haven't ridden these boards, but the consensus on the forums seems to be that the LF Lyman was a very loose and forgiving shape, while the SS Lyman is locked-in and tracky. Can anyone confirm?

I feel like the slingshot Lyman is on rails, holds a perfect line but can break free too. I ride mine with the fins in the inside position and feels perfect.
