My son loaned this board to a friend who loaned it to another kid who managed to tear the boot bracket clamp out. It ripped the threaded socket out of the board and the clamp and threaded socket were lost. Any way to repair this damage? Thanks from Juneau Alaska.

| i would contact where you got it from and it may be able to be replaced under warranty...do you wakeboard in dry suits in alaska?? |

It's no longer under warranty, I'm sure. Must have gotten it 5 years ago. In Juneau we wakeboard in wet suits with wet suit booties. Salt water. It's cold but the kids are tough. Only risk is at certain times of the year the ocean is full of leaping 10 pound chum salmon. They're popping up all over the place. They jump high out of the water. A rider hasn't hit one yet but a lot of very close calls. Then there are the sea lions and whales... |

I'd say that board is pretty much toast. Even if you're skilled enough to repair it, that area will be a permanent weak spot and probably tear again.

Wakeboard Bench!!................Still may be worth contacting the place you got it from. Hyperlite has always been great with their warranty!

There is no way that board is going to get a warranty. Your better off just buying a new board.

Did that friend have your permission to loan it to someone else? Otherwise pretty bad action.
That board is toast by the way.
