so this seat has been f'd for a long time and I'm finally getting around to fixing it, as you can see almost an entire inch and a half of plywood is missing from the base so I bought a 24" by 24" piece of 3/4" plywood from Home Depot, they did not have chemically treated plywood in that size, I would've had to buy a full sheet, I'm coating the new plywood with urethane which comes out really nice although you wont see it once done, I basically traced the old wood onto the new wood then cut it out and shaped it using a circular saw, jig saw, drill, and router, then cleaned up the edges with a file
