He is really good. Did you teach him or did he takes lessons? I think anyone that didnt start that young wishes they did. I sure wish I got an earlier start.

On his tantrum to blind, he's letting his arm get really far away behind his back after the turn. Tell him to take a normal approach in and explode off the top and take it as high up as possible while keeping it under control. About halfway through, look down for the landing and keep eyes directly on the landing spot the whole time. On the way down, give the handle a slight tug straight to the lead hip and while that's happening, turn your wrist down to help with the backside spin. That's pretty much it for that trick... very simple once you get the hang of it and from what I can tell, he has the motion down pretty well. Just needs to keep the handle close. The most important thing to do is spot the landing halfway through and hold eyes on that spot, and the second most important thing is turning the wrist. This will make the spin happen smoothly and also help hold the handle tight. To animate this, sit in a rollable chair, hold onto the table like a handle, and try to turn the wrist down. You automatically spin and while giving a slight tug, your arm automatically holds tight to your body.

For an up-close shot of the tantrum to blind, skip to 2:16 in this video...
